Shabbat

EVERY FRIDAY AT 6:00PM

Our accessible and soulful Friday evening Shabbat gatherings lie at the heart of our practice at Temple of the High Country. For six days we strive to create. On Shabbat we're reminded that rest is a sacred act. Our musical prayer services are traditional, contemplative, and ecstatic. Joyous singing may lead to spontaneous dancing into a rich, imaginative Torah teaching from our weekly wisdom. You won't be the only one who doesn't read Hebrew, or feels more comfortable with Savasana than Shabbat, or is wearing jeans and sneaks. We are truly an eclectic community. Wherever we come in, we'll leave in a different place.

May This Be Your Blessing

Shabbat Oneg

Immediately following services everyone is invited to enjoy an array of delicious food and conversation. Like being in a friend's living room, it's a great opportunity to hang out with old friends and meet new ones. At the heart of Oneg is the sense of community. Whether you're coming alone, with family, or with friends, you'll find a welcoming and open atmosphere where everyone is embraced and celebrated.
