Hillel

Hillel is the largest and most inclusive Jewish campus organization in the world. It’s named after Rabbi Hillel, one of the greatest humans to walk the earth. Living up to one’s exalted namesake may be daunting for some, but for App State Hillel’s vibrant young leadership, it’s a source of inspiration. Members of Hillel lead monthly Temple Shabbat services, partake in Shabbat Oneg dinners and lead Junior Shabbat services. In addition, they volunteer to feed the homeless at Army of Love. Hillel strengthens our community and plays an indispensable role in ensuring the continuity of the Jewish people. Hillel the Elder would be proud.
