For Our Children

A joyful habitat for learning
Welcome to Temple of the High Country, a dynamic, meaningful learning and artistic adventure for children and their families.

The temple features an integrated approach using tradition, text, story, and the arts. The kids build character, confidence, and curiosity through creative Jewish learning and are empowered to ask big questions. Our educational programs bring the warmth and spirit to the Temple of the High Country so the children feel heard and part of their learning.

  • Our Junior Shabbat happenings are open to all ages. Junior Shabbat is an invitation to imagine and connect, deepening our relationship with story and ritual (parents and older siblings are always welcome).

  • Our children enjoy the holidays as we celebrate them together with our families and Jewish community. Our Jewish values are reflected through delicious challah bakes, sing alongs, art projects, story time, and all types of interactive learning.

  • Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur feature imaginative play, movement, music, and learning for children ages 0-12. Our talented team of educators collaborate with the Ritual committee to explore each new season’s themes through age-appropriate experiences.
